So Cal Corgi Nation marches AGAIN!!!
Announcing the SO CAL CORGI NATION 6TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE, Saturday December 7th!!! This will be our 6th year marching in the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade in Long Beach, CA. If you haven't been before, you are IN FOR A TREAT! Hundreds of corgis dressed in their most festive Christmas gear, spreading PAWLIDAY CHEER!!!
Spaces are limited to 250 humans marching- read EVERYTHING below for instructions on how to get your ticket to march!
1. HOW TO GET YOUR TICKET: We have a BRAND NEW So Cal Corgi Nation flag, special edition 2019 design for the Christmas Parade. This flag is your "TICKET TO MARCH' in the parade. Because we are limited to 250 persons, every human in the parade MUST HAVE A FLAG to march in the parade and you must march with a CORGI (or be part of a family with a corgi). Flags will be available live at www.socalcorgination.com starting WEDNESDAY 11/13 at 10 AM. First come, first serve....so be ready to get your flag at 10 am on Wednesday 11/13 THEY WILL SELL OUT QUICKLY!
2. PARADE PAWTICIPANT DETAILS & INFO: The parade route travels along 2nd street, Long Beach, CA. Our group must be lined up by 5:30 pm, so please plan accordingly. The exact meeting location will be sent out to all participants prior to the event. The parade is about 1.5 miles round trip, so if you have older or lazy corgs (or small children) consider bringing a wagon for them to ride along in. If you are NOT marching with us, feel free to cheer us on the parade route as a spectator!
3. CONTESTS and HOLIDAY ATTIRE: Along with the flag, Holiday Attire is MANDATORY for all persons marching- and we also encourage CORGIS to dress up as well and/or decorate your wagons if you bring one. Break out those Santa hats, tacky Christmas Sweaters, Corgi Themed Christmas outfits and your favorite festive holiday gear! The more OUTRAGEOUS the better! We will be having another Corgi Christmas Parade Best CorgWagon Contest prior to parade kick off so be sure to deck out your corgwagon with lights, garland, a holiday theme.. get creative!!! Prizes WILL.BE.PAWESOME!
