A: The Pismo Beach Corgi Nation Vacation is an annual, three-day weekend getaway for corgis and their owners held in beautiful, pet-friendly Pismo Beach, California. The event features both exclusive, ticketed VIP experiences and a massive, free public beach festival at the Pismo Beach Pier.

Q: When and where is the event taking place?
A: The event will be held at Pismo Beach, with various activities scheduled throughout the weekend. Specific dates and times for each activity are listed above.

Q: Is the event open to all dog breeds?
A: Yes, all well-behaved dogs are welcome! Non-corgis become Honorary Corgis for the day.

Q: How far is Pismo Beach from Northern California and Southern California?
A: Pismo Beach is centrally located and is approximately a 3-4 hour drive from both San Francisco (Nor Cal) and Los Angeles (So Cal).

Q: Is there an airport nearby?
A: Yes, the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP) is the closest airport, located about 12 miles from Pismo Beach.

Q: Can I buy tickets at the event?
A: No, there will be no tickets sold at the door. A very limited number of VIP tickets are available. We highly recommend you purchase them soon- tickets SELL OUT EVERY YEAR and we expect them to sell out quickly again this year!

Q: Can I attend only the Pismo Beach Corgi Fest on Saturday?
A: Yes, you can attend only the Pismo Beach Corgi Fest on Saturday, or you can make it a full weekend of corgi fun with your VIP Ticket, which gets you access to ALL of the events all weekend long.

Q: Do I need to buy a ticket for my dog?
A: No, dogs do not need a ticket. All dogs are free.

Q: How about attendees 21 and under?
A: VIP tickets for 21 and under are available and include access to all VIP events and perks, alcohol not included.

Q: How about kids?
A: Kids 6 and under are FREE for VIP all weekend.

A: Yes, Pismo Beach offers a variety of pet-friendly hotels and resorts. We have partnered with several local establishments to provide special rates for event attendees. A: Yes, there will be designated parking areas at and near the event locations. Parking details and maps will be provided closer to the event date.

Q: Can I bring my corgi along to the VIP events?
A: Absolutely! All VIP Experiences are designed to be enjoyed with you and your corgi in mind! We will have special treats and fun for the corgis at every VIP Experience.

Q: Where will all the activities take place?
A: Activities will be held at various locations around Pismo Beach, including the beach itself, and partner venues such as Vespera Resort, Dolphin Bay and Seacrest OceanFront Resort.

Q: How close are the VIP event locations to each other?
A: The VIP event locations— Dolphin Bay, Vespera, and Seacrest OceanFront Resort—are within a short drive from each other (1 mile) making it convenient for attendees to move between venues.

A: Pismo Corgi Fest Schedule will be available in July…stay tuned because we’ve got even more fun, vendors and experiences in store for you this year and can’t wait to reveal it all!

Q: What should I bring with me to the Pismo Beach Corgi Fest?
A: Please bring essentials such as water, a leash, waste bags, anything you would bring for a fun day at the beach! Don't forget sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable shoes for yourself!

Q: Where should I park at each event for the weekend?
Where to Park for Each Event:

• General Parking Information:
  Parking is available at each event location (Dolphin Bay, SeaCrest Resort, Vespera Resort). Please call the hotel ahead of time, as there may be a parking fee. We also encourage using Uber or Lyft, as all event locations are within a 1-mile radius of each other.

• Pismo Corgi Fest Parking (Saturday, September 12th):
  Parking can be busy, and we always advise arriving early to scope out the best options. Here are the available parking spots near Pismo Beach Pier Plaza/Vespera Resort:

  • Paid Parking Lots:

    • Pomeroy and Hinds Avenues: Located at the base of the pier, this lot charges $3–$5 per hour.

    • Main and Dolliver: This lot charges $2–$4 per hour.

    • Pomeroy Avenue: Located between Price and Dolliver Streets, this lot charges $2–$4 per hour.

  • Street Parking:

    • There is street parking available in the areas of Pomeroy Avenue, Hinds Avenue, Stimson Avenue, and Price Street. There is free street parking throughout the city, up to about a 15-minute walk to the Pier Plaza/Vespera Resort.
