Shade Out DM’s goal goal is to spread the word far & wide all over the world to educate and encourage people to do Genetic Testing prior to breeding their pups! DM - Degenerative Myelopathy is the Canine Version of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) to which neither currently has a cure; however, the dog DM research studies do contribute to the human ALS research studies in hopes of finding something to help slow down the progression of the disease. Shade Out DM attends events to help raise awareness about this dreaded disease while also offering a support group (#ShadeOutDM Member Support Group on Facebook) to any pawrents that are having to take the DM journey with their pups.
